Youth In Motion participants (59) came out to support their home town River City Rascals baseball team this past weekend as they took on the Lake Erie Crushers. Before heading over to Car Shield Field, participants met at Westhoff Park for pizza and drinks.
It was Back 2 School Night at the ballpark and all YIM participants, 12 and under, received a back pack full of school supplies. Also, Spongebob made an appearance! This night was presented by the Drug Enforcement Agency.
The River City Rascals were victorious over the Lake Erie Crushers with a 3-2 win on Sunday night at Car Shield Field. YIM participants witnessed James Morisano’s go-ahead home run in the eighth inning. What a great ball game. Go Rascals!
