A Heart of Gratitude at Our 100th Event!
A special thank you to Mr. Al for sharing a meaningful devotion on thankfulness. He read from 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, reminding us to “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances.” It was a powerful message for our Youth In Motion participants, who truly had so much to be thankful for.
As an organization, we are especially grateful as we celebrated our 100th event! What a milestone and what a blessing. Our very first event took place nine years ago in 2017 at the St. Louis Family Arena, when we attended a St. Louis Ambush game. It feels fitting that this milestone event brought us back to where it all began. We are incredibly thankful to the Swanner family—Jamie and Karen—for faithfully championing “Swanner’s Corner” for so many years. Your continued support has made a lasting impact on countless children and families. “Swanner’s Corner”generously providing the tickets for our first event over 9 years ago.

This most recent event was especially exciting as it was Star Wars Night at the Ambush game! Participants enjoyed an unforgettable evening of fun, fellowship, and the beautiful game of indoor soccer.
